Contractors depend on the power of heavy equipment, but don’t always have purchasing power for critical parts, service, attachments, or rentals. John Deere Financial developed PowerPlan™ as a new revolving credit solution to empower contractors; I developed powerful visuals to promote it. The “Power Your World” message resonates with an audience whose world revolves around keeping heavy equipment powered up; the PowerPlan logotype’s circular design elements hint at John Deere Financial’s new revolving credit plan. I chose a yellow and orange color palette to communicate not only the fiery power of the internal-combustion engines that drive this audience, but also the warm support that John Deere Financial gives them. That warmth is unequivocally displayed in the sunny highlights that illuminate the real-world faces of the clients we serve.
