So much longevity that John Deere Financial wanted to promote its financing options for used John Deere machines. Rather than avoid the visual difference between a used farm machine and a new one, I embraced it. Dirt isn’t just a fact of life — on the farm, dirt IS life. Hardworking, dependable farm equipment gets dirty. In these tactics, I combined legendary John Deere green with life-giving dirt brown to communicate the real world our target audience lives in.
